About Tiger 30

Nationally known pencil artist Stephen Malkoff has been featured in Southern Living, Country Living and Guidepost. His work has been captured on Film by Public Television in a one hour documentary entitled Tree Lines: The Art of Stephen Stephen Malkoff, working on a pencil sketch of Tiger, the Auburn University Mascot.Malkoff. Stephen studied architecture and was a walk-on linebacker for Auburn under Coach Pat Dye.

Now, Stephen has teamed up with Auburn University, The College of Veterinary Medicine and the Southeastern Raptor Center (SRC), by creating a commemorative limited edition print to celebrate Tiger's 30th Birthday. Tiger is the first eagle to make a free flight in Jordan-Hare Stadium. She is the beginning of the greatest tradition in college football. When the eagle takes flight it is more than just tradition, it is a symbol of our nation’s freedom.

The purpose of this project is to support building a welcome center at the Edgar B. Carter Educational Amphitheater. Providing clean, comfortable facilities will allow the Southeastern Raptor Center to better serve and educate the public on the importance of these amazing birds.
